Here we go! With the NRA National Meetings opening today, Hornady announced a new addition to their ammunition line. Their new ammunition is the .224 Valkyrie with the new 88 grain ELD Match bullet.
They are listing a velocity of 2700fps, with a ballistic coefficient .545 G1 / .274 G7.
The ballistics they list on the ammunition page are impressive:
We will have more information coming on this new cartridge and will be testing it extensively in a few different AR15s.
