Franklin Armory Begins Shipping the F17-L – 17WSM AR15
Franklin Armory announced that their F17-L – AR15 rifle chambered in the .17 Winchester Super Magnum rimfire cartridge has recently started shipping. The 17WSM is a rimfire cartridge, developed by Winchester, that has a 20 grain load that reaches speeds of 3000 fps. This velocities almost matches the 5.56 NATO cartridge, but with a much lighter bullet, that is built for small game and varmint hunting.
AR15 Hunter has received one of the F17-L rifles and will be publishing a full evaluation and hunt report in mid-September. In the meantime, here are some of the specs of this rifle and the full spec-sheet is below:
